Blackbaud Connector to Test Environment

Options

I am having a really hard time figuring out which Environment I am connecting to on my Power Automate flows. When I select the Blackbaud Connector I see Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT. I thought it would be nice if you could see if this Connector is set to use your LIVE environment or TEST environment, but I can't seem to change the name so that its easy to tell. Also, if you go to Data and then to Connections, you can see multiple Blackbaud Raiser's Edge connections (if you have added multiple, but there is no way to see which environment they are pointed to. Am I missing something? Its a crap shoot and I just have to hope that I selected the correct one.

  • Hi Kristen,

Unfortunately, you're not missing anything. This is indeed a challenge when working with multiple environments - on the Power Platform side, there's no way to provide a more helpful “name” to help clarify which environment you are connected to. We've given feedback to Microsoft about this already (several times, actually) - hopefully they'll introduce a feature to either respect connection name details that are already being returned (by our code), or give end-users the ability to change the connection name to a more-helpful value. Thanks for the feedback, please keep it coming!
