Digital Fundraising Coordinator

Reports to: Digital Fundraising Manager

Supervises: n/a


Job Summary


As an integral part of the Fundraising and Marketing team at Alzheimer Society of Ontario, the Digital Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for creating a donor-centered and mission driven fundraising experience through online giving, online events, and peer-to-peer fundraising programs.


The Coordinator will provide support on activities that engage all supporters using our online fundraising tools leading to growth in fund development revenues. The incumbent will help maintain and update digital assets and templates across a variety of platforms to ensure an amazing supporter and donor experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Peer-to-peer Fundraising Events and Programs
  • Provide support with emails and reporting for event campaigns
  • Support the online experience for 3rd party events
  • Support the online experience for virtual events and peer-to-peer events.
  • Setup and maintain events and programs for most local Societies in Ontario
  • Update website event/program calendars for most local Societies in Ontario
Digital Advancement and Support
  • Create and update online donation forms for most local Societies in Ontario
  • Set-up and deploy monthly e-newsletters for most local Societies in Ontario
  • Set-up and deploy single email communications
  • Set-up and deploy weekly internal e-newsletter
Job Posting
  • Provide support on setting up, gathering content and deploying emails for fundraising campaigns
  • Compile reports for all email send statistics
  • Provide support with Luminate Online to most local Societies in Ontario
  • Review monthly donations and report/flag any issues to most local Societies in Ontario
  • Review and clean-up duplicate constituents in Luminate Online
  • Complete constituent update requests in Luminate Online
  • Work with the fundraising team for all fundraising and marketing campaigns.
Production and Marketing Support
  • Ongoing production support to departments across the organization
  • Basic website maintenance (changing dates, adding links, etc.)
  • Liaising with vendors as needed
  • Assist with compiling and organizing content for campaigns.
Job Qualifications

Education:
  • University degree or relevant post-secondary education
Experience:
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a non-profit, charitable organization and fundraising experience strongly preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
  • Experience in Blackbaud software – specifically Luminate Online
  • Excellent overall computer skills including Microsoft Office software – Word, Excel,
  • PowerPoint, and other entity relations applications.
  • HTML coding knowledge is preferred
  • Fluency in the digital media – image creation and layout
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assign priorities in the face of conflicting urgent demands for service
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Ability to work constructively with all fundraising, program and administrative staff
  • Secondary language considered an asset
