Foundation Operations Coordinator
To support the Foundation’s efforts in fundraising through use of the Raisers Edge NXT database for the identification, tracking and acknowledgement of prospects and donations and efficient interface with Finance Department. Serves as pivotal team member at events, managing registration and payment systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education: Associate Degree in Communications, non-profit management, business or related field and the equivalent of 3-5 years of experience in the non-profit-setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Technical Experience: Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint as well as Raisers Edge experience. Experience with Board Effect preferred.
Required Certification/Registration: NXT RE Certification preferred. Valid driving license.
Serve as the central data generator for all activities, strategies and projects including direct mail and campaigns. Provides monthly reports for the System Board, Foundation Board and the Board Executive Committee, audits and benchmarking as appropriate.
Serve as in-house RE System expert. Responsibility for data base integrity and donor recognition system.
Manages financial reporting and key liaison to the finance and accounting depts. as well as financial partners, banks and investment firms. Submits monthly reconciliation of all accounts, donations, designated donor funds and reports. Manages daily deposits.
Manage and update reports for fundraisers providing data to support fundraisers thorough presentations and solicitations. Manages meeting schedule for board and committees and coordinates office purchases.
Work closely with Donor Relations and their prospect research reporting to enhance data for fundraisers and reports. Manages the Request for Fundraising procedure by overseeing process. Serves as liaison to Auxiliary and its vendor program.
