The Advancement Office of UNCSA is looking for an Advancement Database Manager:

DATABASE MANAGEMENT & ANALYSIS

• Responsible for managing database of over 64,000 constituent records including donors, donor prospects, students, alumni, faculty, staff, corporations, foundations and UNCSA supporters.
• Create and develop analytics to accelerate and drive fundraising priorities and key institutional initiatives.
• Manages constituent information received from multiple departments throughout campus and databases.
• Creating protocols for the retrieval and analysis of data
• Sets up and assigns rights for all users in Raiser’s Edge and back up for setting up new users in Financial Edge.
• Manages the structure of attributes, code tables, business rules, and all other setup functions in database.
• Makes configuration, code table, and user option modifications to the database.
• Creates and maintains campaign, fund, and appeal records.
• Handles global changes, importing, and other global database functions available only to those with Administration access.
• Ensures data integrity by establishing regular system checks, and makes corrections to data as necessary.
• Maintains and updates the database Policies and Procedures Guide.
• Troubleshooting any data-related problems.

REPORTING & TRACKING

• Produces weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and other necessary reports, including data for the annual Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey. Designs and distributes reports to appropriate staff members, Deans and various department support staff.
• Creates timely fundraising activity and metrics reports for VCA and staff for more detailed and efficient reporting.
• Tracks event participation, runs income reports and produces lists of attendees for events.
• Extracts data for staff and various departments on campus for mailings and eblasts.
• Generates gift acknowledgement letters in a timely fashion.

TRAINING & STAFF SUPPORT

• Facilitates and coordinates staff development and training for The Raiser’s Edge.
• Serves as data liaison to UNCSA Foundation and UNCSA.
• Assists Advancement staff with database operations.
• Assists with events as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Lauren Fardella‍ I don't believe that 100% remote is an option however that detail has not been discussed with me. I assume that would be up to the university and the hiring department. The posting is only open for a few more days so anyone interested should apply soon.
