Re: New Applicant Portal Testing
@Nick Mills Can you speak to where/how you delete any test requests/contacts/orgs that are created in testing? We are currently only seeing the ability to cancel, but not delete!
Re: Email re: Donor Cover and Blackbaud retaining the extra fee amount
@Ryan Hamilton right?! Like surely it's smart enough that they can code this correctly. If not then they shouldn't be offering it. Period. Unless that's their plan to get everyone to move to Complete Cover ?
Re: Blackbaud Outlook Add-in Changes for 2025
@John Bird We have options for bundles of users, you would not pay the per user price if ordering 10, 20 or 30 user licenses. It works with lots of combinations of Outlook and RE. Outlook Web or Desktop and RE NXT web or DB View.
Re: Email re: Donor Cover and Blackbaud retaining the extra fee amount
@Beth Gallagher We agree that this is problematic, or if you prefer, wrong.
It will create problems for us with donors.
It will literally take money away from us for the reason of, “Blackbaud could not get the function to work as well as we'd like.”
Time to start emailing and calling everyone.
Re: Email re: Donor Cover and Blackbaud retaining the extra fee amount
I'm not convinced that what they've proposed is legal. It sure does seem to be a convenient way for them to fix this issue. I find the whole premise that their hands are tied due to order of operations to be completely absurd, as well. The order of operations can be changed. It's 2025. There's no excuse for designing an ineffective process then declaring it as a new revenue stream.
Re: Email re: Donor Cover and Blackbaud retaining the extra fee amount
@Beth Gallagher We are flabbergasted by this change and will have to remove Donor Cover on our giving forms if Blackbaud doesn't change course. If a donor opts to increase their gift and cover credit card fees, that entire amount should come to our organization. Blackbaud retaining part of that fee and trying to make it appear as if they are doing us a favor to help with reconciliation is laughable - if it weren't completely unethical.
Blinded by the new colors in web view?
Microsoft Edge browser: Go to Settings and search for "colors." Scroll down to "Page Colors" and try out some of the options. Make sure the toggle is turned off for "Only apply to page colors when high contrast themes are on." I am trying out the "Dusk" option (first screenshot).
Firefox browser: Set your computer's main settings to dark mode (Settings, search for "dark mode" and follow the results to set it). In Firefox, go to Settings and search for "manage colors." Click the "Manage Colors" button. Check the box next to "Use system colors" and toggle "Override the colors..." to "Always." (second screenshot)
These solutions may be annoying if you don't want other sites to appear using the different modes, but it is better than nothing. You might want to use a specific alternate browser just for RE NXT (i.e. use Chrome by default and Edge for RE NXT work). Or play around with your system setting's accessibility contrast themes.
Please comment below if you have found another solution using another browser, system settings, or something else.
None of this would be necessary if web view had a dark mode option, so please go vote for this idea: https://renxt.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RENXT-I-7654

Re: Issue editing "remit to" and "paid from"
@Nikki Baldwin yeah in the chat they said they needed more time to look into this and that they'd email me when/if they figure out what is causing this, fingers crossed!
Re: Issue editing "remit to" and "paid from"
@Emily Daunisi, oh yes, that is unexpected behavior! Is your case still open with support for someone to follow up with you on this issue? I feel like a deeper look is needed to resolve
