Re: Blackbaud K-12 Education Solutions™ Product Update Briefing!
@Crystal Bruce - I heard a few things in the briefing that I don't remember hearing about at bbcon. At the top of the list of my favorite “coming soon(-ish)” features:
- uploading supplemental documents to a learning profile
- attendance codes by division
- department chair's dashboard
Transript Category credit count summary on Official Transcript
Is there a way to include a summary of the total number of credits achieved in each transcript category on a transcript? For example, English 4, Math 4, etc.
Re: Importing an EXTERNAL Unsubscribe email list into RE NXT
Okay! Let me say this publicly. @Alex Wong is doing some considerable heavy lifting here. Just testing this suggestion is such a relief and relives the burden of what is theorical and what is practical. I just want to say that I GREATLY appreciate it good sir. Thank you once again.
@Dariel Dixon
just tested itwhen using oneof on query in webview, 2000 is limit when saved and open the same query in dbview, it will still show 2000 filtered records. You open the oneof operator, I scroll to the bottom and do see the 2000th ID i was doing one-of with.
which then makes me wonder maybe BB has change the one of operator's limit in dbview too, but unfortunately when I do a new oneof operator, the limit is still 500.
good: nothing break, everything works
Re: Blackbaud eTapestry® Product Update Briefing!
@Karen Tuecke yes these will be available on-demand about 24 hours after the sessions.
Re: CAN-SPAM Act
@Lori Slaughter Hello! I moved this out of the Blackbaud Community feedback forum into the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT community for more answers. Thanks!

Strategic Questions for Long-Term Fundraising Success
In lieu of a crystal ball, the Blackbaud Institute analyzed hundreds of signals of change and distilled them into five predictions for how giving will evolve over the next decade, with practical questions to help you apply the insights to your own strategy today like:
- How can your organization make use of new technology to work alongside the next generation of givers, to make smarter decisions, increase trust, and grow personal connections?
- What new behaviors would your organization need to adopt if technology enabled organizations to more accurately predict future needs?
- How will your organization need to prepare if “investing in the future” becomes a more common motivation for giving? Consider your communication strategy: are you relaying the short- and long-term goals of your mission?
Let us know how your organization is preparing for the long-term future in the comments below and read the spotlight to discover what giving may look like in 2035!
Re: Processing fees
@Christine Robertson
Thank you! When I had issued the refund (fees only, not the donation) the other day, I had not received indication that it had gone through. I was finally able to talk with someone in customer service and found out that while the fee refund goes back to Blackbaud, it does not show up in transaction list, which is what I was looking for. The refund is confirmed now in the case notes.
Thanks again for your help.
Re: RE NXT General discussion
@Bryna Gleich Thank you! This was easier! And turns out I only had Raiser's Edge in that section and no RE NXT (now added). I use Chrome but it is possible that it cut off the full list of the scroll down options.
Re: Previewing a Report Card Template
@Kristin Heard it does. My concern was that while fixing an issue with the grades displaying for the previous term, that it might not be able to show me what I was expecting. We spoke to a Blackbaud specialist over the phone and they confirmed that in fact if on the Report Card template, the correct Grade Plan appeared on the column, then the data was going to be pulled from whatever term was set on the Grade Plan. And that was indeed what was happening, so thanks!
