"Why becoming certified was important to me and/or my organization."

I had told my supervisor that I had wanted to become certified for a couple of years.  Though it doesn't affect my standing with my organization, I feel that the certification validated what I knew in my heart to be true - that I really am a "power-user" who understands Raiser's Edge on an expert level.
