Allow Emails to be sent to Primary Email rather than a specific Email Type

I'm sure this is not currently possible, so I am posting this as a suggestion to the developers hoping they will be able to implement this solution.  Please allow NetCommunity to match on RE Primary Emails rather than a specific email type.  Prospective donors have more than one email address and being able to differentiate which is the primary and email to it would be great.  I currently use imported lists and consolidate the emails, but the data are then not recorded on the NetCommunity tab.

  • Thanks Pallavi!  Is there a goal date for when it will be implemented?  Really appreciate you taking the time out of your day for a response!  Good to know the developers are watching the forums!
  • I second this!!  We have constituents with several email addresses who want certain types of correspondence to go to address A, other stuff to address B, so on & so forth.  We need to be able to indicate in RE which address NetCommunity should send to.


    BB Support recommends just setting your mapping to send to the address that people want their BBNC emails to go to, but that doesn't work because some folks want their messages to go to a Personal Email, some to a Business Email (which are just two of the email options in our phone type table). 
  • I would love to see this as well. I would also like for the spouse's email info to be separate from the primary constituent. We have many couples where both the husband and wife would like to receive an e-newsletter, but BBNC doesn't allow us to send to both automatically.
