Site monitoring tools?

Hi - we are having issues with slow load times for NetCommunity donation pages, possibly due to inactivity.

This article recommends site monitoring tools to help keep the pages from falling asleep.  Per a support rep, there are several free options online - does anyone use a site monitoring tool with NetCommunity or have any experience with them?  Any recommendations?

    Hi Mandi,


    Look at using Application Initialization setup on the site, it will reload your site if the Application Pool is restarted.

    If you are a hosted client, this is likely because you are on a grid server (sharing your hosting enviornment with other clients). If you are self-hosted, it's likely because NetCommunity requires IIS, which is generally regarded as the inferior HTTP server (compared to Apache or nginx). Also, the site is built using ASP.net, also regarded as an inferior language compared to Node and...suprisingly...PHP.
