Organization Records & Receipts

So Luminate has released the ability for us to create Organization Records and process donations! This has the potential to be a very good thing.

Now the question is, how to we get the eReceipts to generate usign the Org Name instead of the Contact name?

I haven't been able to find any documentation in the help files that incldue these details on either:

Support didn't seem to have any info either but the guy I had talked with suggested something like [[S120:dc:organizationName]]

Anyone else have any direction?

Hey JP,

The docs team updated the help section to include the new [[S120:dc:organizationName]] tag to show you how to pull that in the pdf receipt or transaction summary. Listed under the donorTitle in the help.

Thanks Ryan for the info. Now for the really complicated question.

Will E-tags work in PDF receipts? Canadian receipting requirements are very different than those down in the US.

Currently those of my clients that are using Luminate would have their PDF receipts configured to merge either the Donor or the Billing name onto the receipts. My testing has indicated that the full_name or [[S120:dc:donorName]] merge fields will inject the Organizational Contact name onto the receipt - so current templates would make the receipts look like the contact made the donation rather than the company.

What I would like to be able to accomplish is an If-Then-Else statment:

If [[S120:dc:organizationName]] = ""

[[S120:dc:donorName]]

else

[[S120:dc:organizationName]]

ATTN: [[S120:dc:donorName]]

If E-tags are not going to work on the PDF receipt, then I asusme the only way to create this separation on the reciept template would be to create separate receipt stacks/PDFs in LO along with the corresponding separate donation campaigns for individual vs orgnizational gifts?
