Online Express Email Signup Form

Why is there no facility to allow users that sign up to select which communications they want to receive?  at the moment you create the sign up form and it just asks you to sign up.. But a user should be able to select what they want to sign up to receive.


This is pretty standard practice in many organisations and sign ups on websites.
