Latest Credit Card #s for Testing forms in OLX?

We are testing our latest Event Registration form with the test credit card numbers we've been given last year. Now however the transaction totaling under $1000 is processed and approved, but the transaction for more than $1000 has been receiving a "General Decline" error.  Is there an updated set of test credit cards to use?  If not, who can help me troubleshoot this issue asap?

    I'm pretty sure that any test numbers from last year should still be available test numbers this year.  These numbers are created/provided by the credit card companies and available with a quick google of "test credit card numbers".  One of these sites does recommend not testing a transaction over $500, so perhaps that's the issue.  Have you tried your over $1k transaction on multiple test numbers, i.e. a Visa and a MasterCard?


    Why would it matter, actually?  If the process works for a $10 transaction on a test number, then your processor (OLX/BBMS) and form are working fine...

    We did test transactions with mulitple cards and $1000+ amounts as well as under $1000 amounts. In test mode, only under $1000+ were successful, so we were worried that this might happen with donors when we went live. We talked to OLX support that said certain total amounts would trigger "general decline" in test mode, so we are awaiting the list of those amounts. However, we went ahead and went live when we were assured that this would only happen in test mode. I tested with an actual credit card several transactions after going live that were under and over $1000, and all transactions were approved. Then I went to BBMS and refunded all those donations right away ;-).

    We never had this happen with our forms and testing last year, so this is a new "wrinkle" in the OLX setup process.

    Do you have BBMS in demo when running the test credit card? That might be the reason.

    No. BBMS was not running in Demo.
