Lag time in hosted RE?

in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: General Discussion
We have had Blackbaud hosted Raiser's Edge for years and are recently noticing connection issues and a fairly persistent lag of up-to several second when using RE--both in data entry/batches and simply in navigating a record. Speed tests show that our connection speed should not be the issue---anyone else experiencing similar issues?

    We had major lag time issues (several minutes!) and all looked fine on the RE side.


    It turned out our network guys had made some changes to the firewall (I think) to our network, so while all was fine on the way in, it jammed up once it hit our internal workings.  Once they tweaked things, all was wel again.


    I can check with them about the specifics if you'd like.
