Changing Transaction Details in reply email

Unfortunately, the data that appears as Transaction Details cannot be changed.  Nor are you currently able to include any of your form's Gift Attributes or the Comment Field.



I strongly suggest reading thru this Idea (already marked Pending) in the OLX Idea Bank and adding your vote as well as a comment about the specific fields you'd like to have available as Merge Fields in the Confirmation Screen and Email.  Also this Idea which is a longer thread and already marked Complete for the initial request, but is related.  While you're in the Idea Bank, read thru some other posts and vote/comment for anything you would like to see happen, because Blackbaud staff pay attention to what customers are looking for partly by reading these posts...the product will only be what we want if we tell them what it is that we want!



As far as an immediate solution, we still send mailed letters (signed with handwritten notes from our CEO) to online donors.  Those we can format however we like with whatever data we want to include.  Even though this means essentially 3 thank yous to the donor, it's another touch point and (in my opinion) the most important one because it's personalized/handwritten/obviously not canned or automatic.  I receive letters in the mail from most organizations where I make online gifts, so I think this is pretty standard at this point.
