How to query for specific relationships that are nonconstituents

I'm trying to clean up older records where parents of students are connected to a son/daughter, but the children are not linked to their actual record. Essentially the parents are linked to a nonconstituent/ghost record. How do I set up the query to find parents that have son/daughter relationships on their record (I can do that part) who are not constituents (can't figure that out)? Any help would be awesome.

    I just created a query that seemed to pull what you're wanting.  Have you tried this?  For the Relationship > Individual criteria This Individual is a Constituent equals no



    If I'm understanding your question this pulls parents with non-constituent child relationship on record.
