I am looking for language to use in gift acknowledgements regarding gifts from a IRA Charitable Rollovers  with regard to congress having yet to pass the extension on these types of gifts.  Does anyone have examples of gift acknowledgement letters that they are willing to share?

    John, as the question is not specific only to RE, you may want to search/post on the fund services site.  They have a lot of good resources there.  Site is fundsvcs.org and link to archives is on left side.  That page brings up their recommendation for searching using google specific site.

    I have no knowledge specific to this issue, but as with any gift I'd just state the value of the donation and that they should consult their tax advisor and never give any specific advice on what might be tax deductible.
