Is anyone else having a problem when looking up constituents?  I had an online donation come in that I knew was for an organization already in RE, but when I checked the address box to search for exiting constituents the organization did not come up.  Also another constituent did not come up because part of the address was abbreviated (Blvd instead of Boulevard).  I didn't have a problem before with looking for a donor who had an abbreviated street address.  We just had an upgrade go through and I'm thinking some of these things may have been changed.  This causes much more work since I now have to check for every online donor in my system before processing each gift.  PLEASE HELP!!

    I'm having this same problem! It's not recognizing duplicate addresses with punctuation or abbreviations. It's also changing constituent names in the batch, even after you link to the record and say NO to changing the existing record. This is creating a lot of extra cleanup, which we specifically signed up for OLX to avoid.

    The only search parameters we use are first name / last name and email address. If an auto-match is not found then I search by just surname and then just postal /zip code. I don't trust our data entry to search by complete addresses!

    You can also change the search criteria in the account settings which might save you sometime. OLX>Account Settings>Integration Options>Constituent Matching.

    Sharon and Alyssa, we are having the same problem. This is especially challenging when you have a large number of donors you have to go through and link. Not to mention, there is no way to tell if they are in fact linked or not. Our old system was much easier in this regard.
