Reorder default gift type on donation form

Hello!

Is it possible to reorder gift types on a donation form so that "Make a single gift" is the default option instead of "Pledge to give". I've tried to drag the fields in the Fine Tuning section, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

    Hi Jennifer, I had the exact same question today, and Support told me it cannot be done. We ended up taking the default pledge amounts off of our form, because we thought it was confusing, and edited the Header to say "Please choose Pledge or Single Gift".

    It's hard to believe this can't be customized as we want it to be. Single gift should be the default. Blackbaud reps, is this something you are working on?

    I would also like to see this functionality.  We would much prefer for people to make a single gift over a pledge.  A lot of our donors have been confused and not even realized they were pledging instead of making a straight gift.

    I would like to see this changed as well! It is creating work on the back end that is not necessary. It can be done - its  programming. We need to have peopl vote for this topic so that we can get it changed!

    I am going to update my experience so far. We have had our pages up for about 3 months and it is a constant problem, that people use the default "make a pledge" instead of changing to the one time gift, even when they want a one time gift. This causes a problem: If the gift is not on the date we run pledges, the credit card is not charged. We have to go in and manually change the transaction to a one time payment and run it again. It is just an extra step that wouldn't happen if we were just allowed to change the default! Our boss wants to leave the pledge on there and try to make the directions clearer, but WHY WON'T OLX JUST LET US CHANGE THIS? We just want to change the default! It is pretty ridiculous.
