Daily Birthday Emails

Our workaround for that is to export the constituents we wish to send birthday emails to along with their date of birth and import id into a csv file.  Then use text to columns to break out the date of birth into month/day/year columns.  I then copy/paste values only to new columns for Month and  Date.  Sort by month/date and then in third column add the year 2015 or 2016 based on timing of when you do this process. (Delete the dob and formula columns).



Now create an import file to add new action for Birthday Email.You can then create query for Birthday Actions which equal today and use it to make a list in NetCommunity.

 

We do daily emails based on action date. Use scheduled emails in NetCommunity and set to run daily. You just need to always be aware it is set to run and tweak the template (as needed). We usually change the message each year to something fresh and new.
