Is there a way to download Message History (subject line, date, etc)

Options
Scrolling and using the dates is very inefficient. Times out most of the time.

I have spent hours doing basically nothing today because this feature is so clunky.

Thanks,

  • If you open each message once and push the data to RE, you will then find Appeal Records for every message sent and the Appeal Description will be your Subject Line.  I think the date doesn't go on the Appeal Record, but it will be on the Appeal tags on all of the Constituent Records to whom the message was sent.  Those tags will also tell you which email address(es) the message went to (if there is more than one address on the record) and also the last action taken (Received, Opened, Clicked, Donated, Opted-Out).  If you don't want this data in your database (for some reason), you can globally delete the appeal tags but still have the Appeal Record.

This does require opening each message and pushing the data over, but once it's done, you have that data in RE, and it's a fairly fast & very simple click of a button.  If this still doesn't meet your needs, I suggest posting in the Idea Bank so others can vote on your idea.
