Change "Notes" on Org1 to "Matching Gift Notes"

Could there be some slight clarification on the Org1 tab to wording on the right half of the screen, so that "Notes" becomes "Matching Gift Notes." I see a fair amount of information that users have placed there, because it is a very large field which catches the eye when looking at the record. While I clean it up by moving the information to the Notes tab, I wonder a change to the header above the text box wouldn't benefit other database managers who see the same thing.

Interesting...

We don't use this box primarily for MG notes. We tend to include login info for online grants as well as MGs or other special notes. (Typically we also included this on a real note or the relationship info.) I see a field in config for "match notes" but I don't think this is the same field as on the org1 tab.

I agree that the way that is currently displayed on Org1 makes it easily seen as if it were for general notes about an Organization. There are even some topics on the Discovery web site that highlight this confusion (http://rediscovery.uservoice.com/forums/137015-raiser-s-edge-discovery-topics/suggestions/4219875-print-notes and http://rediscovery.uservoice.com/forums/137015-raiser-s-edge-discovery-topics/suggestions/5566469-a-note-box-on-indiviual-records-bio-1-tab-similar).

If you want to see this as a change in a future version of RE you should add that suggestion there.

You can change the label on this field. Or hide it altogether (the field itself and the label).

Config > Fields > Constituent

Find "Match Notes" and either check the Hidden box or change the text in the Display As box.

FYI, if you make the Display As text longer than what is there out-of-the-box, it may not show the whole label in RE. The label change *should* appear throughout RE, in Query, Export, etc. Also, be aware that this option is not available for every field in the database, and I think fields that are hidden still appear in Query, Export, etc. just are not visible on the records themselves.
