Custom Search - "Open a Constituent"

I was trying to create a custom search per this thread https://community.blackbaud.com/forums/viewtopic/147/16480?post_id=53061#p53061 and attached document in the thread to display specific fields since "Open a Constituent" does not display expected results, however, the search window still does not display the fields I created in my query and displays the regular record information results (name, spouse, address lines, city, state, zip, Consid, and KeyInd).  We are in a hosted environment. I am following the directions I found, but I just cannot get the fields I selected to display in the search results window no matter what I do.

    Is your query showing in the 'Search using query' in the upper right hand corner of your Open search screen?

    When you enter your search criteria, you have to hit Find Now again in order for the view to refresh.
    • Can you check the above and report back?

    Not sure how this type of change updates, but the next day when we came in, it was working.  Maybe being hosted doesn't make those types of updates as quick as non-hosted.
