Exporting Proposals

I am trying to export the proposal information we have on our current grants--we use the prospect tab for this and make it work how we can. My problem is that the canned report doesn't give me enough info and when I try to export the info it just add columns for each proposal rather than adding a new line for the new proposal. I almost need the equivalent of the gift export v. a constituent one so that I can the proposals on each line. Anyone have a work around??

Ahhh, I see you've met my imaginary friend Mr. Proposal Export. The only workaround for us has been Crystal Reports.

So! I stumbled upon this today when doing come proposal cleanup -- if you are in import you can create an import file of the proposals. If you chose to make a CSV, you've basically got a proposal export that you can manipulate in Excel. You can include them all or base on a query (const, ind, org, GS). It's not perfect, but better than some of the other options (like getting them all in a row in a constituent export).
