End of Year Tax Reporting

Can anyone offer how they prepare tax reports for Board Members.  I see there is an Annual Statement in Financial Report but I need to show the Appeal and this cannot be done with the Annual Statement.  I now export the Annual Statement and then go back and insert the Appeal ID associated with donation.  Any easier suggestions will be appreciated.  Also looked at Gift Deail Report but cannot find the Gift Amt only Gift Receipt Amt. -- as I need to show both to donors.  Thanks for any help.

  • Linda, by "Detail Report" do you mean Reports > Financial Reports > Gift Detail and Summary Report?  If so, the Gift Amount is automatically chosen and goes into the default 4 columns (set up on the Gift Types tab and arranged on the Columns tab).  Receipt Amount is just an optional column you can add to the detail report.
  • Thanks John - don't know how I overlooked that.  The Gift Detail will probably work for me.  I can then select Gift Receipt Amt . which shows tax benefit; and thanks for quick reply!
