The usage tab in a part only shows when the part is being used by a template or a page. It does not, however, show if the part is being used by a "targeted content part." You are able to delete the part, even if it is being used by a targetted content part, but you cannot remove it from the trash bin because it knows it's being used somewhere, but you cannot find out where.

    For those interested in this issue, I received a response the other day:



    "This is a known issue within the current versions of Blackbaud NetCommunity and has been resolved in the next version, 6.51, which is tentatively scheduled for release before the end of 2012."

    Thanks Tom and Karen for raising this. We're glad to make sure this will be resolved with 6.51 release which some hosted customers began receiving yesterday.
