Triple the work to process Sign-up Requests and Event Registrations

Options
When processing fundraising event registrations, the Net Community tab user has to complete the same process twice. This is very time consuming and frustrating to say the least. Also, the help tells the user to use the options tab in bulk processing so new RE records are not created automatically and the profile updates are rejected. This works 50% of the time. A solution coming soon?

    I see two questions in here.



    1) Who do users have to enter their information once for a fundraiser and again for an event registration.



    2) Sometimes profile updates don't go through properly when processing various things in the plugin.



    Is that correct?

  • Hello Jessie,



    1) The fundraiser is adding the user as a solicitor to the fund. The event is adding the user as a participant to the event record. If you'd like to see this change, let's start a new thread as an idea for this.



    2) After clicking Bulk Processing, select the Options tab. At the bottom select Reject Profile Information. Accept profile information is the default and will accept everything regardless of what you pick. Reject Profile Information will respect your specific selections.

    1. We also have to process a sign-up for these people too. 3 activities for one signup is very repetitive and not a good use of time. it would be great to see this all in one. i can add as an idea



    2. this does not always work. has anyone else had this trouble??
