How do I customize a form submit button, i.e. change the image, make it float/align left?

  • Hey Elle!

The answer to this is probably to do it in your stylesheet, but what type of form is it? That'll help know if that's the answer or not.

    Thanks!

  • I realize that I need to do it in the CSS, but I can't figure out how to do that.

For example, on this page: https://giving.brighamandwomens.org/h...

I want the BBNC form with the submit button (in the bottom right) to use the image from the JotForm above it that has the "sign up" graphic as the submit button.
  • Hello Elle,

I recommend either downloading FireBug for FireFox or using the F12 function in Chrome. These will help you find the ID and/or class for the specific thing you want. Once you have these, you'll just need to either use what CSS you know, or google how to do it, and apply that to the ID or Class. If you need help getting acquainted with CSS in general, w3schools.com is a great place to start!

    Thanks!

  • I have and use FireBug, but am still unable to figure out how to change the image for the button. I have been able to do this for other, non-BBNC forms, but for some reason the BBNC forms make it much more difficult. Can you be more specific about how I can change the submit button on this BBNC form?
