Is there a way to import a list of pre-existing newsletter subscribers?

We have a list of 3000+ subscribers from our previous, pre-BBNC newsletter. Can we import the list in a way that it will be included in a newsletter mailout? The only workaround I have been able to come up with is to import as a list, and use that list as the "test" email for the newsletter; of course, this would not allow subscribers to un-subscribe, if they no longer want the newsletter. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hey BBNCYYC,

There's no supported way to add users to a newsletter. What you'll want to do is email via an imported list and tell everyone you're changing your mailing system and encourage them to sign up for the newsletter. They can do this without creating a login if you set up an anonymous newsletter subscription part.

this is something my organization is also very interested in - we are creating new newsletters and wish to default folks to subscribing, instead of asking all of them to go in and subscribe. is there anything planned to include this option in the future?
