Do I have to have any modules of The Raiser's Edge to build donation forms?

    If you plan to accept recurring gifts online, then you must have the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) module for The Raiser's Edge. This feature will automatically be greyed out if you do not have this module.



    If you plan to use the tribute/memorial giving functionality, then you must have the Honor/Memorial Tracking module for The Raiser's Edge. This feature will automatically be greyed out if you do not have this module.

    If you do not have these Raiser's Edge modules, then please contact your Account Manger for pricing information. After purchasing these modules, then you will be provided an unlock code.

    We do not have the EFT module and yet, when I go to OX's donation form, that recurring gift checkbox is NOT greyed out...

    We recently made an improvement to Online Express to no longer require the EFT module for recurring gifts and direct debits in some cases:



    For organizations using non-US bank accounts and for all customers using The Raiser's Edge version 7.93 Patch 10 or lower, the Electronic Funds Transfer module for The Raiser's Edge is required.

    If an organization was able to accept recurring gifts in Net Community without the EFT module, why do we need it now?

    Just got my answer from Live Chat. So apparently Blackbaud gave us a feature (the ability to accept recurring gifts through our donate pages) in Net Community that they took away with Online Express. You must now purchase the EFT module. The Online Express that you were told is cheaper than Net Community is not so much anymore.
