Hello Everyone,



I am building a report that summarizes our Annual Fund progress. Currently it displays total received, a breakdown of unrestriced and restricted giving, a comparision to where we were as of this date last year, as well as participation accross different constituencies (alums, parents, fac/staff) and Parent Participation by class (we are K-12 independent school).



I'd love to add a subreport that pulls in the gifts received this week, the export from RE contains all of the gifts for the past two years to today, so it seems like it should be possible, but I can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this started?

    If you want the same information and formatting in the subreport as the main report, I would save a copy of the main report and use it for the subreport.  Then edit the subreport using the Select Expert to filter on gift date to only include gifts recieved this week.

    The main report is more of a summary, a few graphs and some high level numbers that I mentioned in my original post. I imagined this subreport being the only part with some detailed information, probably on a seperate page.

    What specifically isn't working with the subreport?  Getting it to just show this week's gifts?

    I'm not sure I am linking the right field because no values show in the details when I preview the subreport.

    If the subreport is at the end of the main report (report footer?) I wouldn't link it to the main report at all.  I would use the same data file though so you can still run it through Custom Reports in RE.
