Best Tools for Updating Constituent Information...

I am looking to send out a mailing of some sort to request constituents update the information we have for them in RE. Does anyone have an examples of mailings they have done, or any suggestions for how to go about creating this? I'm thinking a postcard would be the easiest way to get it to an from, but I'm open to all suggestions.

    We have done postcards, emails and calling.  We definitely had the best response from email surveys and student callers.

    We've found that emails and phone calls are the best (and most cost-effective) tools for getting current contact information. Whenever we have a large donor-centred event we will conduct follow-ups for RSVP's and we often ask to ensure our information is still accurate. It comes in very helpful for sure!



    Mailouts are tough because you usually get a lower response rate and the cost involved, depending on how wide a net you're looking to cast, can get pretty big for return postage on even a postcard.

    I agree that an email would be most cost effective, but issue is we don't have email addresses for several of our constituents, and that is one of the areas we are hoping to update/acquire. 



    I do like the idea of phone calls, and maybe I'll suggest that as an option.
