Auction/Event Sponsors & Maestro

Options
We are new users of AMPro and have our auction site set up and are accepting registrations.  But, we had processed a number of sponsors before we went live with the Maestro site.  I cannot transfer the sponsor records because they are already in the Maestro database as people or orgs.  The integration only creates the record the first time.  It does not update records.  How have you handled that same situation?  Would you continue with the sponsors being processed in RE or manually add them to Maestro to better manage the event.

Thanks

  • We process online ticket sales through RE and BBMS, then manually add them to AMPro for the event.  When pulling the information back into RE post-auction, i keep an eye out for duplications and just delete them.

Does this mean that you are not using iATS to process payments through your auction website?  We are so we are planning to process all from this point on in the auction site.  But we do have a number of sponsors that were processed in RE before our site was up so that was my issue.  We have decided to manually add those into AMPro so that all the reporting will be from one location.

Have you integrated auction data/purchases to RE following an event?  If so, would you be able to give me some feedback on that?  Please email me at tinagorskistrong@wheelerschool.org  Thanks.
