Is there a way to turn an appeal into a package?

I'm wondering if I can go back to all the appeals we used over the years for our phonathons and instead of individual, stand-alone, appeals, turn them into packages under a main appeal titled "Phonathons"?  I'm guessing probably not, but thought I'd ask anyway.

 It would take a lot of time and you'd have to do it with export and import.

I would ask why you might want to do this.   Do you mean making all the phonathons ever a single appeal with packages for each year or something?  Or do you mean 2014 phonathons with packages for each month?  I would just think that through and make sure it's what you want based only your campaign, fund and appeal structure.  You could also use an appeal category to group them if that's more appropriate.
