SEPA in non-UK database

Options

Hello,

I am wondering if there are any TRE users that use the Canadian, US or AUS version of TRE (not UK) that need to implement the new European SEPA requirements. (IBAN numbers, BIC code, mandates)

How will you implement those 3 new fields? Will you implement them by using attributes? Which procedure do you use for the sending of the mandate letters?

It will be good to share some ideas.

Kind regards

Ann

    Hi Ann

I know you said non-UK databases but this UK blog from Blackbaud on this topic does state that: 'This blog post outlines what the functionality will include, and gives our non-UK European customers some guidance on what to expect for the upgrade'.

Thank you for your answer Alan, but we use the Canadian database stamp of TRE for our European countries, so we will not be able to use the functionality of the UK patch. We need to have a work around in place by February 1, 2014, so I am still looking for people in the same situation...

We are thinking of working with attributes (IBAN and BIC), but we still need to figure out how to deal with the mandates (mandate id in reference field) and the letters to be send.

    Regards

    Ann
