Export Output Request

Options

Is it possible for Blackbaud developers to add a formatting feature to the Export - Output category "Primary Alumni Information - Class of" so that you are able to export last 2 digits, instead of all 4 digits?

For example, if I wanted to export the class of 1999 and 2004. I would want my report to list the class year's as such, '99 and '04. Is this possible?

Anything is possible. If you want to add it as a feature request you can go to the RE discovery page. Frankly since it is quite easy to find and replace or use the RIGHT fomula to get the last 2 digits I would not say it is something that would be high on the list for me to vote for. I say that mostly because there are some serious major overhauls that I think are more important - not that this is not annoying.

Under Configuration / Alumni Options, change the "Class of format" option to 'YY instead of YYYY.  This is a system-wide change but you can always change it back so you aren't losing data.
