Seeing/Testing Conditionals

As annoying as this would be, I'd probably just create multiple user accounts with the different conditional interests you want - same way I tested conditionals in the subscription process.  That way you can see exactly what your recipient will see.  For an email, I'd want to see it in each inbox without the potential breaking that forward can bring in to be absolutely certain.

I had this same question. Does anyone from Convio have a recommendation?

The problem I'm having here is that when I send out a test, everyone who receives the test receives it as if it were sent to my admin account. It doesn't factor in their settings or information. Any other ideas about how to test this?

Thanks. I've tried that with no luck in the past. Aside from that, this a teamraiser coaching email, and I'm not seeing an option to send it to a reviewer list.

There is step 6, but apparently that doesn't do what the Reviewer List in a regular email does.

What if you just created a temporary quick email, and tested your conditional there?

Fun URL trick of the week:

Under the hood, Coaching Emails are really no different than Email Campaigns. If you edit your Coaching Email, in the URL you'll see an ec_id (Email Campaign id) and em_id (Email Message id). Using those, you can hack the URL of the Email Campaigns Send Review Email step, like so:

https://secure2.convio.net/shortname/admin/CommCenter?email=em_edit6&ec_id=XXXX&action=edit&em_id=YYYY.Y

(Where secure2.convio.net/shortname is your organization's secure URL, XXXX is your ec_id, and YYYY.Y is your em_id.)

From there you can use the Reviewer List as usual!

The cool thing about Ideas is that you can see all of the other thoughts from other Convio users and vote (or demote) them to let us know which you’d like to prioritize. It’s still not a guarantee for development but is a great way to get the attention of our Product Managers.
