There's not a way unless an event admin adds something. You can add something like what I've posted below.

[[?xTRUEx::x[[S1:accepts_email]]x:: display this if accepts email is true:: else display this]]

In the "Display this if accepts email is true" with something like, "Hurray! It looks like you are all set to receive our event information via email!" Or you can simply delete just that.

For the "Else display this" you could put, "Uh oh! It looks like you are not subscribed to receive email from us. That means you won't receive all of the important event updates. Please subscribe to our email so you won't miss a thing." You can then make a link to a simple survey with an email opt-in check-box.

Let me know if this will work for you.

And to render the email address you just have to enter [[s1:smileytongue:rimary_email]] to render it. Ask the participant to check it and if it's not correct you can send them to your "update profile" page.

I am lost as to your solution! I don't know how to "render" the email, unfortunately. I thought there was a way for the volunteer to see if the emails sent were delivered. I know for the administrator there is a way, but how can the volunteer know if the email was delivered or not? Does that make sense?? And thank you for trying to help, I really appreciate it. Talk to you soon I hope!! Marymac Webb Development Associate Boys & Girls Clubs 701 N. Raleigh Blvd. Raleigh, NC 27610-1692 Phone: 919/834-6282 Fax: 919/821-2625 www.wakebgc.org

Sorry for the mis-understanding. I thought you meant that you wanted to show whether a participant's email is subscribed. Let me pass your info along to one of our TR experts to get their input.

    Hi Marymac,

There is a setting that Convio Support can turn on (if it's not already turned on) that will notify a participant via email when an email sent from the participant center bounces back.  All you need to do is log a support case asking them to review & reset if needed the SDP listed below:

F2F_CENTER_TAF_BOUNCE_NOTIFICATION_ENABLED should be set to TRUE

    A couple of quick notes:

    1. This feature is only available for PC2.  If you have not upgraded, then you are missing out on a significant number of tools that can help improve your participant experience, empowering them to raise more $$$.  Ask you account manager about the right timing for updating your event site.
    2. Similarly the other email tracking tools, this is not an exact science.   There are a significant number of variables outside the Convio system that must work in order for this information to be communicated back to Convio so we can pass that along to the participant.  This means that In other words, if the bounce back notification is not sent back to Convio by an individual's email carrier, then we are not able to forward this back to the participant.

    Thanks!  Robyn
