Including Question on Action Alerts

Options

Has anyone used the new feature in advocacy to add a question to your action alerts. I was trying to think of how this feature would be used and was curious if there were any examples.

    I am the Product Manager for Convio Advocacy and I am glad you asked this question.

    Adding questions to your Action Alert will allow you to collect additional information from your constituents that you couldn't before. It is a great opportunity to learn more about your activists at the time when they are engaged in something they feel passionate about. One of the simplest applications of this new feature is to add an Email Interest to your Action Alert. Or, you can choose to update their constituent profile with the answer to an answer and query on this in the future.

  • Hi Kelly - I believe that some clients are using this feature to collect Mobile Phone Number to opt constituents into their text messaging programs, as well. Maybe those clients will describe their efforts!

    Thanks -- I was thinking of both those things. This may be something we start using with hidden web interests so we can start to segment a little clearer the type of action takers we have.
