Another Autoresponder question

Autoresponders are the death of me for some reason...

I am setting up the autoresponders for Tributes and I want to put the gift amount and a transaction summary into the autoresponder. So I add in the S tags and everything looks great. But when I preview it sometimes it just says 'Gift Amount' and 'Transaction Summary' where each is actually supposed to be. And other times it actually has a dollar amount and a transaction summary in there. I feel like I might be going crazy- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I was looking through some S Tag documentation and it said that S120 tags don't work in all autoresponders. Can anyone tell me if its in Tributes autoresponders that the S120 tags don't work?

Hey Allison,

It kind of sounds like the problem might be more a matter of how the preview works (or doesn't work) since you sometimes get the amounts (were you per chance doing something on the actual site earlier before you tested?).

But, you might want to add a comment on the STag documentation doc in the community:

To "please clarify which autoresponders the s120 does or does not work in".

This phrase in that section of the site is also a little odd:

"you may want to access the AutoResponderTrick to verify if the tags work in the autoresponder in question." What's the autorespondertrick?
