Hello,


Does anyone use Stripe as payment processor? If the processor changes from BBMS to Stripe, what configuration changes will be needed? Pros and cons?

    We'd love to use STRIPE but I do not believe it is a supported payment processor.

    Stripe is not a supported payment processor in Luminate Online. Even if it were, you'd be losing some key functionality like Blackbaud Checkout (and the ability to accept digital wallets like Apple Pay) and Credit Card Updater for sustainer giving. 


    I'm curious, what would you gain by using Stripe?

    Sorry, I didn't know I was replying to a Luminate Online question.


    We use RE NXT with a BBMS payment processor.  Currently NXT doesn't provide enough conditional logic for anything but the simplest of online donation forms, event registrations, or K-12 school store online purchases.  Therefore, as we've done for years, we use other solutions outside of Blackbaud with a STRIPE payment processor for our two largest fundraising events, online store, and athletic booster donations.  The limitations of NXT without the ability to use STRIPE created more work for our fundraising and finance departments.

    I think that makes sense...just to be clear, one of the things that makes life difficult for you is that you use the RE NXT forms with BBMS for your "main" donation form, linked from the Give button on your website, but for other more specialized purposes you're using Stripe and the multiple payment processors makes reconciliation with Finance difficult?
