My organization is interested in getting added to EAP.  Our donors have been asking as well.

We would love to be early adopters as well.  But is this just for PayPal?  How do we get Venmo payments?  I see that both are now in the dropdown in RE and so we thought they were both an option for LO but that does not seem to be the case.

Thanks for your interest Pam Aylor‍, Sue Christensen‍, and Cheri Tabel‍! We're working on kicking off the Early Adopter Program now and our participant list is full for the time being. We'll be sure to follow up if we end up with more space.


To answer your questions, the EAP includes PayPal, PayPal Credit, and Venmo and is currently only for Online Express. We'll be offering it in other Blackbaud solutions but focusing only on Online Express right now allows us to keep a controlled environment for the EAP.

Sue Christensen‍ you are correct that there are custom PayPal implementations available today through Luminate forms.

Pam Aylor‍ Blackbaud Checkout can be enabled on your Online Express forms through the form builder. You can tell if Blackbaud Checkout is turned on by looking at the "Select how to collect credit card information" section in your form setup. You can see it in this screenshot:

We are interested in using Venmo and Paypal.  Any information or help in this area would be greatly appreciated.

We would love to learn about this as well. We currently use Netcommunity but may be switching to NXT donation forms and wonder how the Paypal gifts work. 

Our organization would be interested in being a part of the early adopter group!

OLX lacks a ton of functionality compared to other systems. We're trying GiveWP for our current email campaign donation form and have been able to use PayPal, track conversions from email marketing, and create a much much better looking donation form overall. 

Megan Girvalo‍ So far the Early Adopter Program has been progressing well but we don't have a finalized timeline yet for when it will be available for all. Since there isn't a timeline yet, I can't promise that it will be available in 2020, unfortunately. We will certainly keep the community posted as those timelines become clear, and we do intend for this to be available to all of our organizations and not just those in the U.S. In the meantime, I'll add you and your organization to our list of interested candidates in case we expand the Early Adopter Program.
