Making the leap to using new organizational records

I work for JDRF and would like to talk to organizations that have begun to actively use the organizational record functionality in LO. Even better if you are syncing this information to your CRM!

    We only use it to add sponsorships.  It really is limited.  When you add an organization and want to process a gift, it will always ask to add a contact. A lot of our organization send in donations and we dont have contact names.  It won't let you process the donation without a contact name!  Organizations still don't sync down to Raiser's Edge through the connector, so we are doing double entry.  Again, it has a long way to go.  We mainly use it so the donations will be included in our totals and sponsorship will also appear in teamraiser.  Otherwise, I find it useless.

    You posted about this in 2016 and 2018. I'm searching for new information but can't find it. In 2020, do you agree that LO still does not sync organization records to RE? I thought this was good feedback that there is clearly a need. Also, when emails are sent to contacts with no first name (outside of TeamRaiser), the default is Dear Friend. This is what prompted my search to understand what's being done to resolve this sync issue.
