Hey all!

What website or service do you use to find the actual address of a constituent if you're trying to send them a letter or receipt? White pages? Something else? Something free?

Anna,

Have you checked out the Data Health Center? They have an address finder that will allow for you to submit a grouping a names so many times a year to get their updated NCOA address changes. I find it helpful to run once in a while. If I have a grouping of addresses that need checked that I can do manually, I usually use FastPeopleSearch.com. If I need something a little more in depth, I'll use Alumni Finder. The problem with Alumni Finder is that there is a fee attached to it.

As referenced by Jeremy Bontrager‍ , if you have the BB services - per chat conversation I had with support last month regarding Addressfinder and Address Accelerator:

Can submit Addressfinder 4 times/year
Can submit Address Accelerator as many times as needed
Can submit Deceasedfinder 1 time/year

LOL now I need to find out if there's a schedule for updates as I see postal codes on records that I created last week. The joys of taking over an empty position.

Thanks! We do have NCOA, but can only run it 4 times a year. Would like something that can be a quick check.

While NCOA are good tools, there is no tool that is 100% accurate. There are other prospect management tools like WealthEngine or LexisNexus that allow ad-hoc searches, but those tools aren't necessarily cheap. Sometimes the services in the Data Health Center can be bundled with your contract, but you should reach out to your representative to find out for certain.

For free online searches I use ThatsThem.com and Zabasearch.com
