Adding birthdate question to event registration

Is there any way to add a birthdate question to an event registration so that it populates the constituent record? I know you can add it to a survey via Questions, but I don't see the option in calendar events Questions. Is there any other way to add Constituent fields?

    Hi Kim,


    You should have the option in calendar events to add questions. Make sure you are selecting the Date question type. That should allow you to map to date of birth.

    Did you figure out how to do this?  We are converting our summer camp registration to completely web-based and would like to add birthdate as a required field.

    For Calendar of Events, you can add a date question and in the configuration of the question, map it to the "Date of Birth" field (you also need to change the setting in step 6 to "Select Existing Field"):
