Total giving report

Hey guys!


I am really new to RE and I am trying to run a report that has total amount for giving for each constituent and includes all constituents.  Can anyone help? Thanks

    Do you really mean to do this in Crystal Reports? This can be done in RE. It usually begins with a query that is used by an export or a report to produce the final results. You''l have to decide all of your criteria to make sure you pull all of the gifts that you want. Consider gift types, soft credits, and more all in your criteria and what do you want in your final report/list?


    Also consider watching one of the webinars Blackbaud has already produced to show you how to query, run reports and exports.

    By "running a report" if you mean Export, you can Create a Constituent Export and use Summary Information to get the information you need.  Below Summary Information, you have an option for Gifts.  You can select the total number of Gifts, Total Gift Amount, etc.  You have the ability to apply filters to the gifts to refine the data you're looking for.   I agree with Mark Guncheon - check out the Blackbaud webinars to get you up to speed on what you need to know.  Good Luck!
