The Donation 2.0 (mini) Part Is Slow

We have been using the Donation 2.0 (Mini Donation Form) Part for a couple of months now. We noticed the part is very slow. It typically takes 20-30 seconds to load the Personal Information page once someone clicks the Continue button. We have had many customers complain that the donation form times out before they can complete their donation too. Does anyone have any solutions/tips/tricks to speed up the part? Or does anyone know when BlackBaud plans to fix this?

    We've had the same problem with it and we're told it would be fixed in 7.1 SP6. I assume that became 7.2, but it doesn't seem to have fixed it. In the end we went with Online Express donation forms instead.
