How to integrate "other" designation field for donation forms?

We have an other field & the text box created where donors can type in where they want their donation to go to. Where/how should it be mapped? To us, it doesn't make sense to be a constituent field. It is currently not dropping into the plugin to be processed in RE.

Quick question: Are you using the Designated Giving options in Luminate Online or is this just a free text field?

Blackbaud support told me text fields cannot go into the plugin to be processed in Raiser's DEdge at all, but I'm hoping there is a work around. Because we have A LOT of people type in this other designation field. It was possible in NetCommunity as a gift attribution. I'd be surprised if there is no solution for Luminate Online.

You won't be able to map it like a regular designation type. Who knows what will wind up in there, it will always need manual attention. So I'd think it would come over as a text field/value in the sync.

Web Services documentation shows that field as "AgencyName", so I'd start looking for that. We use Omatic, I'm not sure where to look in RELO.
