How do I edit the event RSVP autoresponder?

I've added a customized event RSVP email and at the bottom of the email text that I added, it included the event details and "Event Coordinator" followed by our organization's name. We don't have an Event Coordinator, so I don't want that text appearing on any of our event emails. How can I remove it?

    The information appended to the bottom of the autoresponder is controlled through a template file that only Convio staff has access to. To modify or remove content from this area, you'll need to open a Support ticket and have a template customization scoped by Convio Services (this is a for-fee service).

    Is this still accurate? I am wondering why we cannot have access to change some of the content that is auto displayed. 

    Specifically the 'Child Advocates & Event Coordinator' Not having the ability to change this per event would be disappointing. We have multiple people managing different events. 


    Is there a new resolution that I am just not aware of?

  • "Event Coordinator" is simply the name of the organization. That's why it doesn't change.
  • Thanks, Kim -- Still looking to customize this and other items on all the event autoresponders. I have had multiple people tell me it looks like a place holder for what should be a name or additional contact information or that we forgot to change it.


    This seems like it should be something I should be able to do without having to open a ticket and pay for it every time. Still hopeful for that solution. 
  • Definitely post if you find anything out. As Noah mentioned, all that content is controlled by the Convio template, which I've been told can't be changed because it's fixed across all instances (organizations). I couldn't find anything in Product Configuration message catalog that lets you change that field.

    If you navigate to Setup > Site Options and then filter by Site Option Group = Events and click the Go button you can locate an entry for CAL_SIGNATURE_TITLE - see screenshot below for reference.

    You can either add a more meaningful label here or go ahead and blank out the field and hit Save. This change will affect all Event Autoresponders. 


    If you wanted additional contact details displayed beneath the Autoresponder Content that the Platform Template renders, then you could add that to your Event Email Stationery above your Chaired By graphic in the footer.
