Event Guest information with RELO

Unfortunately this is where both Luminate and RE fail.  We capture the names by using questions on our event form.  Make sure you select short text, otherwise it won't come through the connector.  We have them list their guest(s) name.  In RELO we process the registration.  Then I go in to the RE event module, find the participant open the registration and in attributes, you will find the guest names.  Then I add them to the record as guest.  Yes it is a waste of time having to do this but I found no other way around this. Its worse if you sell tables!  I also find it a pain if you sell both individual tickets and tables.  If you have a limited number to sell and you use more than one ticket type, it does NOT calculate all the ticket types you sell as one group.  You have to spread your allotted amount out between the ticket types.  Say I have 500 tickets available.  I am selling individual and table of 10.  I have to decide how many tables I will make available because each table counts for 10 tickets but the systems doesn't know that and only counts it as one.  So I have to split my amount available to say individual ticket type 400 and table ticket type to 10 (which accounts for 100 tickets) but Luminate doesn't know that.  It's a real pain, confusing at times and time-consuming!  Maybe someday they will come up with a better solution.
