Can I use Raiser's Edge for Email Newsletter on a Mac?

I am a Board member of our organization and help with the newsletter each month. We just migrated to Blackbaud and Raiser's Edge, but now that I am in Citrix to learn the new email program, I am unable to use it with an iMac. It runs Windows.  Is this not adaptable for Mac users?

    Hi Julie - You need to download the Citrix receiver specifically for mac to your computer.  You can do that by going to: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/mac/receiver-for-mac-latest.html.  Once the receiver is downloaded to our computer, you will be able to launch your organization's Raiser's Edge (RE) database.  


    Once in RE, you can navigate to Online Express (OLX) > Email Marketing and create emails to send out to your constituents. If you have any further issues, I would recommend you contact your organization's Database Administrator or Blackbaud Support.

    Hi Julie. I think you're referring to Online Express' email marketing functionality. It's correct that you'd need to access your Raiser's Edge "database view" via Citrix to be able to use Online Express. 


    But note that there is an all-new email marketing capability available natively in RE NXT that is directly accessible via browser. Assuming you have access to RE NXT, you should see this new capability under Marketing > Email.
